Not everyone understands the magic of Disneyland. For my family and me, it truly is the happiest place on Earth. There's something so special about spending days immersed in the joy and wonder of the parks, watching my kids light up as they experience rides, meet their favorite characters, and savor their first churros.
For us, Disneyland is more than just an amusement park—it's a place of connection. When we're there, the usual distractions of daily life fade away. We put away our screens and spend full days together, talking, laughing, and making memories. Whether it's the excitement of riding Dumbo as a family or the simple moments of sharing a dole whip and singing along with the birds in the Tiki Room, every part of the experience brings us closer together.
I'll be honest, it's not all fun. From walking miles through the parks, to navigating crowds, kid meltdowns, and spending long days in the sun or cold, we often leave completely worn out. And yet, I always come away from these trips feeling more connected to my family than ever. For me, that's what life is about—those moments of connection, joy, and togetherness.
Having opportunities to create connection and memories with my family is why I invest in real estate. Real estate gives me the freedom and flexibility to prioritize what matters most to me. By investing in assets that generate income and grow in value, I'm able to fund experiences like Disneyland trips and create a lifestyle that allows me to spend quality time with the people I love.
I also see real estate investing as a way to create a legacy for my children. Through my investments, I'm building something that will benefit them in the future, ensuring that they, too, can prioritize what's most important in their lives.
Disneyland is more than just a destination for my family; it's a reminder of why I do what I do. Investing in real estate gives me the ability to create these magical moments, and those moments fuel my motivation to keep building a future that prioritizes connection, joy, and love.
Check the Crowd Calendar: If you have flexibility, try to book your trip during a less busy time. Lower crowds will make a huge difference in your experience.
Consider Non-Disney Hotels: There are a huge variety of hotels within walking distance to the park at significantly lower prices.
Rope Drop: Be in the park before it officially opens and position yourself for rope drop. This lets you head straight to a popular ride and enjoy the shortest line of the day.
Take a Mid-Morning Break: Around 10–11 a.m., when lines start to get longer, take a break to grab food or catch a show.
Go with the Flow: Don't stress too much about the lines. Use the time in line to play games or have meaningful conversations—some of my best memories were made while waiting in line.
